White Aluminum Privacy Fence and Gates in Pacific Palisades
A white Linea aluminum privacy fence around a pool deck, matching pedestrian gates with keypad locks, and an aluminum enclosure that hides the AC units. A recent Lumina project in Pacific Palisades.
The Project at a Glance
This Pacific Palisades home has a stone pool deck that looks out over the hills, with neighbors close on two sides. The owners wanted full privacy around the pool, gates they could lock with a code, and a clean way to hide the row of AC units in the side yard.
The answer was one aluminum system in white. Linea privacy panels run around the pool deck, pedestrian gates in the same slats close the side passages, and a short run of panels with its own gate turns the equipment area into a neat enclosure. Everything uses the same 4-inch overlapping slat and the same white finish, so it reads as one design and matches the white trim on the house.
The Finished Fence and Gates

Full Privacy Around the Pool
Linea uses 4-inch slats that overlap, so there is no gap to see through between boards. Around a pool that matters: the deck stays private from the street and the houses above, while the fence still looks light and modern rather than like a solid wall.
The posts are surface-mounted on the stone deck with base plates, so the fence sits on the finished surface without breaking up the paving. Panels follow the deck’s corners and steps, and each run ends in a matching post so the lines stay clean.
Gates that lock with a code
The pedestrian gates use the same Linea slats inside a framed leaf, with keypad locks so the family can come and go without keys. One gate opens from the house to the pool deck, and another closes the side path to the garden.
Hiding the AC Units
The side yard had a row of new AC units along the wall, right next to the lawn. A short run of Linea panels with its own gate now closes them off.

Why White Aluminum Worked Here
White picks up the trim, windows and railings on the house, so the fence looks like part of the architecture. Lumina fences are made from T6063 aluminum with a powder-coated finish and carry a 25-year limited warranty. There is no painting or staining to keep up, which suits a pool deck that sees sun, water and splashing every day.
The equipment enclosure uses exactly the same panels as the pool fence. That keeps the whole yard consistent, and the gate on the enclosure gives service technicians easy access to the units.

Project Questions
What kind of fence is this?
A Linea series aluminum privacy fence in white: 4-inch horizontal slats that overlap, so there are no see-through gaps. The pedestrian gates and the equipment enclosure use the same slats and finish.
Can an aluminum fence be mounted on a pool deck?
Yes. On this project the posts are surface-mounted on the stone deck with base plates, so the fence sits on the finished surface around the pool.
Can you build an enclosure to hide AC units?
Yes. Here a short run of Linea panels with its own gate closes off the row of AC units beside the lawn, so the equipment is hidden but still easy to reach for service.
Can I see Linea before I order?
Yes. Linea panels are on display at our Panorama City showroom, where you can compare privacy levels and finishes side by side.
Who installed this fence?
The fence and gates were supplied by Lumina Collection Group and installed through our licensed installation partner.
