Best Fence Installation in Westlake Village

Fencing for Westlake Village Homes
Westlake Village is known for its lake, its oak-covered hills and its well-kept neighborhoods. Many homes sit inside homeowner associations, and nearly all of them are seen from the street, so a fence here has to look finished from every side.
The homeowners we meet in Westlake Village tend to care about three things: a driveway gate that looks as good as the house, a fence that does not need painting in the sun, and a design that will pass architectural review the first time. The project below brings all three together.
Hampton Aluminum Fence, Driveway Gate and Leaf Decorative Panels
A vertical-slat aluminum fence and gate, with decorative panels framing the front entry.

The goal
The owners wanted to close off the driveway and side of the home with a gate and fence that felt light and modern, not heavy like wrought iron, and they wanted the front entry to have a feature that guests would notice.
Why Hampton
Hampton is built with slim 2 inch slats. Set vertically, as they are here, the slats give a tall, tailored look that reads as security and style at the same time. You can still see light and greenery between them, so the fence does not feel like a wall. Hampton is made in 6 x 6 ft and 8 x 8 ft panels, with pedestrian, double swing and sliding gates in the same slat, so the driveway gate and the fence match exactly.
Why the Leaf panels
At the front entry, we used Lumina Leaf decorative aluminum panels. The cut-out leaf pattern softens the modern lines of the fence and casts a changing shadow across the walkway through the day. Leaf panels come in 3 x 6 ft and 3 x 8 ft sizes and can be used as fence infill, privacy screens or wall features.
The result
A gated, private property with a clean black finish, a front entry with real character, and nothing to sand, stain or repaint. Installation was done through our licensed installation partners.
Choosing a Driveway Gate in Westlake Village
The driveway gate is usually the most visible part of the whole project, so it is worth choosing carefully. Lumina aluminum gates come in three types, each made to match the fence series around it.
- Double swing gates open from the center, like the gate on this project. They suit driveways with enough flat space for the two leaves to swing open.
- Sliding gates roll to one side along the fence line. They are the better choice for sloped driveways or where cars park close to the gate.
- Pedestrian gates give you a separate walk-through entry, so you do not need to open the driveway gate for every visitor or delivery.

What Shapes a Fence in Westlake Village
HOA and design review
Many Westlake Village neighborhoods have an HOA with rules on fence height, style and color, and some require approval before work starts. Ask your HOA for its guidelines early. We can give you product photos, panel sizes and finish details to include with your application, and the showroom is a good place to bring a board member who wants to see the product in person.
City rules and two counties
The City of Westlake Village is in Los Angeles County and has its own zoning code for fences and walls. Neighborhoods just across the line, often also called Westlake, are part of Thousand Oaks in Ventura County, which has different rules. Check with the right city for your address before ordering.
Sun, heat and wind
Summer sun and dry winds are hard on painted wood and steel. A powder-coated aluminum fence keeps its color, does not rust and does not warp, which is why it suits the long, exposed fence lines and gated driveways common here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you install fences in Westlake Village?
Yes, we do. We install through our licensed installation partners. We supply the fence, gates and decorative panels from our showroom in Panorama City.
Will an aluminum fence pass my HOA review?
Many HOAs approve aluminum because it looks clean and needs no painting, but every association has its own rules. Get your HOA guidelines first and we will help you pick a style, height and color to match, with product details for your application.
What is the difference between Hampton and Ridgeline?
Hampton uses slim 2 inch slats and is often set vertically for an open, tailored look. Ridgeline uses 4 inch horizontal slats for more privacy. Both come with matching gates.
Can decorative panels be used as part of a fence?
Yes. Lumina decorative panels such as Leaf, Wave and Chevron can be set between posts as fence infill, used as privacy screens or mounted as wall features.
Can I see these products before I decide?
Yes. Visit our showroom at 14600 Arminta St, Panorama City, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, or Sunday 10 am to 4 pm by appointment.
