Best Artificial Turf in Los Angeles
LuxTurf patterned and natural-look artificial grass, supplied from our Panorama City showroom, where you can walk on it before you choose. Installed anywhere in Los Angeles through our licensed installation partners.
Artificial Grass for Los Angeles Homes
Most artificial turf is bought from a sample the size of a coaster. At Lumina you can stand on full installations of LuxTurf, next to our aluminum fences, pergolas and glass sunrooms, and see how the color and pattern look in real light.
We supply artificial turf to homeowners, designers and landscape contractors across Los Angeles, from the San Fernando Valley to the Westside and the coast. Choose a natural-look lawn, or one of our designer patterns that turns a patio or courtyard into a finished outdoor room. When you are ready, we install through our licensed installation partners, or supply the turf to your own landscaper.

Designer Patterns, Not Just Green Lawn
LuxTurf comes in two families. Flat-effect patterns, including Chevron Flow, WaveFlow, Ripple Flow, Grid Core and Mosaic Line, read as a clean graphic surface. 3D-effect patterns, including Wave, Diamond Lattice, Pebble Scape, Paver, Topo Flow, Infinity Hybrid Flow and Roma Pave, add depth that looks like stepping stones or pavers set into grass.
The patterns work best where a lawn would feel plain: a courtyard, the floor under a pergola, a path between two seating areas, or a pool deck. For open lawns, we also carry multi-tone artificial grass with thatch for a natural look. See the full range in our artificial turf collection and our LuxTurf mats.
Where Los Angeles Homeowners Use Artificial Turf
Backyards and side yards
Turf gives you a green lawn all year, without mowing or reseeding. Side yards that never get enough sun for real grass are one of the most common places we see it.
Pool surrounds
Turf softens the edge of a pool deck and keeps it green through summer. Read our guide to artificial turf around a pool.
Pet areas
LuxTurf is pet-friendly. Dogs can run on it, and it rinses clean with a hose. Ask us about the right base and drainage for a dog run.
Under pergolas and in outdoor rooms
Patterned turf under a louvered pergola turns a patio into a finished room. It is the setup you see throughout our showroom.
Front yards in HOA communities
Many HOAs have their own rules for front-yard landscaping. Our guide to HOA-approved artificial grass in California explains what boards usually look for. More ideas: designer artificial turf in California.
How to Choose Artificial Turf in Los Angeles
Look and feel
LuxTurf is made in a range of pile heights, blade widths and color blends. A multi-tone blend with thatch looks most like a real lawn. Taller pile feels softer underfoot, and a shorter, denser pile suits patterns and high-traffic paths. The fastest way to decide is to stand on each one in our showroom.
Summer heat in the Valley
Like all synthetic surfaces, artificial turf warms up in direct summer sun, and the inland Valleys get hotter than the coast. Shade from a pergola or a tree makes a big difference, and a quick rinse cools the surface. If an area gets full afternoon sun, tell us and we will help you plan for it.
Base and drainage
How long turf lasts depends as much on the base under it as on the turf itself. Our licensed installation partners prepare a compacted, free-draining base so the surface stays flat and water runs through.
City and HOA rules
Rules for synthetic turf, especially in front yards, vary by city and by HOA. Check with your city and HOA before you start. We can provide product information for your application.
